Brenda Bailey-Hughes

Brenda Bailey-Hughes is an award-winning faculty member with the nationally ranked Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where she teaches communication and leadership courses.

Brenda specializes in communication training and has coached many executives from Fortune 500 companies. Her client list includes P&G, Cummins Inc., Lockheed Martin, Chinese International Marine Containers, Carlisle Companies, John Deere, First Merchants Bank, One America, WellPoint, National Collegiate Athletic Association, and the City of Indianapolis.

Professor Hughes is a Top 20 LinkedIn Learning author with over 3 million viewers. She is a sought-after speaker who regularly presents at conferences and workshops on a variety of topics, including empathy, trust, listening, influence, presentation skills, design thinking, and customer service.

Brenda is the recipient of numerous awards for her scholarship of Teaching and Learning including a Global Classroom Fellowship, Community Engaged Learning Award, Faculty Excellence Award from Sung Kyun Kwan University Executive MBA program, four Innovative Teaching Awards, Alpha Kappa Psi Inspirational Teaching Award, and the Kelley School of Business Trustees Teaching Award.

Brenda is a licensed WorldWorks coach, is certified as a Leadership 360 coach, is trained in the Keirsey Temperament profile, and is a member of Association for Training and Development and of the Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society. Brenda has a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Communication and Professional Development.

Tatiana Kolovou
Tatiana Kolovou

Tatiana Kolovou, MBA is a three time trustees teaching award Senior Lecturer at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. She teaches Business Communication and Cross Cultural Communication classes to undergraduate, MBA and executive education students.

Tatiana is a long term member of the Association for Training & development, the Association for Business Communication and is accredited through the Center of Applied Psychological Testing and The Leadership Circle. Tatiana is a World Works licensed mentor, a program designed to help professionals be successful when managing cross-cultural teams and individuals in a global work environment.

In her previous position, Tatiana worked with University Human Resources at Indiana University as an Organizational Development Consultant. Tatiana has designed and conducted seminars, facilitated retreats, and helped professionals accomplish optimal work performance. As a professional speaker and trainer, Tatiana has presented in numerous US conferences and in 15 countries around the world. Her topic emphasis is on interpersonal and cross-cultural communication, lifestyle balance and workplace effectiveness. Clients include P&G, Cummins, Inc., Ralph Lauren, Red Bull, Cognizant, ONB Bank, Chinese International Marine Containers, Carlisle Inc., Milestone and Brown Forman. Tatiana has authored 15 courses in the Lynda.com/LinkedIn Learning library, including best-selling Communication Tips with over 2 million views.

Tatiana holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis and lives with her family in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born and raised in Athens, Greece.

Remembering Timothy T. Baldwin

Timothy T. Baldwin was the Randall L. Tobias Distinguished Chair in Leadership at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Professor Baldwin held a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Michigan State University and an MBA from MSU as well. He co-authored three books and has won several national research awards – including eight best-paper awards from the Academy of Management.

Professor Baldwin was frequently recognized for teaching excellence including multiple MBA & Undergraduate Teaching Awards, the Eli Lilly Alumni Teaching Award and the FACET All-University Teaching Award. His background also included consultation with Cummins Engine, Eli Lilly, FedEx, Whirlpool and a variety of other organizations in both the public and private sector. He founded the MBA Sports & Entertainment Academy at Kelley and designed and delivered numerous executive education seminars in the US and abroad.

Ray Luther
Ray Luther

Ray Luther, PCC, is a senior lecturer of management and the executive director for the Partnership for Coaching Excellence and Personal Leadership at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He coaches senior organizational leaders to enable personal growth, drive organizational effectiveness, and increase willingness to change as required.

Ray founded and co-directs the Kelley MBA Leadership Academy, and previously served as the executive director of the fulltime Kelley MBA Program. Ray currently teaches graduate level business classes in personal leadership, strategic visioning, organizational behavior, and executive coaching. Ray has also developed and taught numerous executive education programs for clients including John Deere, H&R Block, National Express, Cummins, OneAmerica, MISO, and the NFL Players Association.

Ray’s overall work experience spans a 25-year career including executive team leadership, strategy, branding, market research, innovation and change management. Prior to his time at Kelley, Ray worked at Procter & Gamble as a director in the Health Care Business Unit including both pharmaceutical and OTC medicine categories. Ray started his professional career as a U.S. Army Officer in the 3rd Infantry Division where he was in line roles as a platoon leader and company executive officer in the Medical Service Corps.

Ray holds a BS and MBA from Indiana University, and a PhD in Leadership from The University of the Cumberlands. He is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, a Certified Hudson Institute Coach, an Immunity to Change Certified Coach.
